There is alot to learn when you are new to hooping!  The first thing people always want to know is why do you hula hoop?  There are a multitude of reasons, so here are a few!  Exercise. Hooping for 10 minutes can burn up to 100 calories.  Parties. All ages can participate in a hula hoop contest!  Dance. Hula hoops can be used as a prop in many different forms of dance.  Therapeutic. Some people use hooping as a healing therapy just like yoga.  Fun. Hula hooping is just plain fun!  How many more reasons to hula hoop can you think of?
